Broken feathers on bullied chick

New to chicken keeping and my 5week old chick got bullied and had a small wound on her tail area. Cleaned her up looks ok but there is some broken feather with blood. Should I pull it out? What happens if I do wheat happens if I don’t ?

New to chicken keeping and my 5week old chick got bullied and had a small wound on her tail area. Cleaned her up looks ok but there is some broken feather with blood. Should I pull it out? What happens if I do wheat happens if I don’t ?

I would leave it for now, but I would put blu-cote on the wound after cleaning the wound well with saline, or veterycin Spray. If the other chicks see the red wound they will keep picking it.
Also, if you see that the bully is still after her, put her in a separate cage for a bit to protect her.
