Broken Hearted!!!

I had to give one of my roosters away today! I knew this day would come. I had 4 roosters and 11 hens. My roosters were giving my hens a bit to much action! I still probably have to get rid of one more. I have 2 coops, so i figure one rooster per coop is ok, and i plan on getting more hens in the spring. I'm happy i found a good home where he will be the only rooster and be used as a stud. What more could a man ask for!!! Travis will be greatly missed!! I just hope i can find a good home for the next rooster since my chickens are pets and not food.

Sounds like you did a great job finding him a home. Maybe when the time comes they will be needed another rooster.
