We lost one of our beautiful Sicilian Buttercups last night. She was 3 weeks old and lived in the brooder along with our other 3 chicks. At about 5 am we heard some loud chirping and my wife got up to check on the chicks and ran back into the room to tell me that one was missing. We believe a freaking cat or a racoon came into our house through an open window and took her....
There's no signs of the bird anywhere, and my kids are devastated.
Her name was Penelope, and she was very loved by this family.
