Broken leg or something else

This morning, our hen Patricia was on the floor of the coop and when she tried to move she would move a few steps then fall over to her left side. She never stood up normally and kind of like hobbled around before falling over. I examined her as best as I could and she did make a whimper like noise when I touched the thigh area. She is almost 1 year if age.

Is this a broken leg or something else?

That sounds like a symptom of Marek's Disease. Was she vaccinated for Marek's Disease?

Her age is about the age that most Marek's symptoms usually appear.

I agree, sounds like Merek's to me, too.
