Broken leg.

What can you do about a broken leg? I just got them and something happened to its leg during transport. It doesn't seem to bother him besides having issues walking. Is there a way to help it out?

Kinda helps lol... Wishing it was much younger now with this issue... I'll have to check a couple of things in the morning. Would hate to have to put it down due to injury during travel.

Yeah, hopefully you can help him. Sometimes the best thing is to have to put them down. It's a tough decision to make though.

I had a newly hatch pheasant that got caught in the currculation fan. It's leg was nearly cut off at the knee, just a tiny piece of skin holding the two parts but the bone was shattered just below it's knee. So, had to amputate at the knee. It survived the ordeal and hops everywhere. That was 4 years ago, still alive. I thought at first, maybe I should euthanize it but glad I didn't....she's a pet pheasant.
