Broken Spur, Any tips?

Ok well, recently had a storm cause one of my coop doors to blow off and one of my roosters got out and has only been coming by in the morning to snatch food then proceed to pick a fight for my other rooster in another coop, Usually I try to catch him and fail horribly due to the fact that my property has wayyy to much brush round it and he ducks and gets off. Today when I get down there here he is fighting my other rooster through the wire at the front of the coop my one in the coop spur was broken and it really upset me so now I have two beat up roosters one in my garage and the other in a solo coop the spur was originally about 2 an 1/2 each and it lost about a inch how should I go about taking care of it and helping growth and before anyone blows up on me, no its not for fighting, its simply because I cant stand to see my big dudes lacking them its like their pride. Thanks in advance!

The spur will grow back. I'm assuming that their is no bleeding? By next year the spur will be fine, even if it's a bit shorter than the other..........Pop

Im sorry I forgot to mention it was bleeding, I stopped the bleeding with some anti bleed powder and I have him in a nice dry spot to his self so I really dont think infection will be a problem would triple anti biotic be ok for this too?

You can do that, but as long as the blood has stopped, you won't have any more problems. If it were my rooster, I would cut the other spur to match and then as they grow, sharpen them. It's like working on fingernails. But that's up to you. Fighting through wire is tough on them. I once had a rooster bleed out before I found him. Same scenario, storm blew the pen over and it was a while before I was able to check on the birds.......Pop

Thank you so much for the insight trying to decide if i wanna file the other down because I really doubt it will ever come close to its original but I really do appreciate it. Hopefully wont have it happen again now Ive got the rogue rooster locked down and in chicken hospital in my garage youd think chickens would know whats good for them and come home instead of staying out in the bad weather after ive had him for 3 years, oh well it happens but thanks!
