Was hoping someone could help me ! I think my chicken got hit by a car but I’m not sure and I think her bone is sticking out of her toe and I have no idea what to do. She is eating, pooping, standing and I think she can take some steps. I was reading where people amputated toes and I was wondering if I should do that ?

Crap that’s bad. I vote to amputate the toe. @casportpony
I don't have chickens, but what I do know is that this is a messed up toe. I would soak it in Epsom salt and take her to a vet(if possible).
Welcome to BYC! Can you pluck the feathers, clean it off and post new pictures?
Ouch. Leaning toward amputation, but I have zero experience with anything like this. Let’s see how it looks after clean and trim as suggested.

Yes I can try I just realized she has one toe like that on each foot, do you have any ideas of what to do?
That seems like an odd injury... both toes broken the same way? Could she have gotten her feet stuck somewhere and panicked?

I honestly have no idea ! I saw her feathers at the top of my driveway and then she was laying down in the grass by the driveway breathing heavy and saw her one toe, I’m pretty busy with my kids so I was able to go back out and take a better look and she is standing pooping and taking a few steps with toes on both feet like that ?
It would be really helpful if you could get more pictures of both feet.
