I'm just sick. My 7 week Salmon Favorelle pullet is limping. When we examined her, one of her toes is bent backward(to the rear). She isn't complaining as she limps, but squeals when we try to touch it
She's not lowest on the pecking order - and the run is enclosed, so nothing could've gotten to her. But, it was their first full day in the run and the first day unattended.
Im not sure what to do for her? Should we separate her from the other birds and maybe put her in the brooder? I don't want to stress her - she's never been by herself - but I don't want her to injure it further.
Can anything be done for her toe??
Thank you in advance.
