Broken toes

Hello! My Roo has a toe hanging by a thread and one that is off and healed. He caught it in the chicken wire. Should I cut it off and put antibiotic ointment on it? Or leave it? He's hopping and its slowed him down, so I'm afraid something will get him.

I would go ahead and remove it, then apply some iodine to it, and put a small bandage one the stump. Confining to cage for a couple of days would give it time to start healing. The nails may never grow back in.
