"Brood patch?" Is this why Jane's stomach is naked and featherless???

Jane is my broody Serama hen. Her stomach is naked! No feathers!

Is this the brood patch? Anyone know?
And no, she doesn't have mites or lice. She lives in a rabbit cage in our kitchen.

My little frizzle cochin does the same thing when I picked her up and saw how naked she was I just about lost it, I thought for sure she had a dreaded disease ,nope just broody
