I have 10 chicks that I have to put into a bigger brooder, does anyone have any designs or ideas that might help me?

This is a very long thread. I suggest scrolling through to look at the pics. It's worth reading if you want to but it'll take you days. I know because I did!

Do you have a kiddie pool? I usually just make one, by taping together enough boxes to make the size I need. I make a really big circle out of the boxes and use cardboard on the "floor" of the box. It doesn't need to be fancy- just safe enough, and warm enough....

I had originally put them in a laundry basket and made it so they couldn't get out of the holes and put the bedding at the bottom but today when I went to check their food and water I noticed four of them had escaped and were running all over the place. So I'm pretty sure its time they gotta get a brooder with higher sides or at least something that has a lid!

My husband has some of his stuff in a big one and I'm thinking about using that now that I looked at the thread.

Definitely escape artists! They always try and come out when I grab their water also. They hop on the water bottle expecting a ride out!!

I don't know where you are but our lowes carries a 50 gallon for $20, too. You can check online first to see if your store carries it. And some of the walmarts and other stores have xmas tree totes on clearance too.
