Brooder floor

Not to be noise but can I ask why?

I got 30 standard size layers in a big coop and run and a smaller coop with a rooster and his hens, I got 10 expensive baby Black Copper Marans we just hatched 2wks ago in our laundry room in a brooder am suspecting 3 are roosters, I guess no room for smaller bird for now.

Yes I see. I am just building my flock now. I have 3 coops 1 for my standard BO's and BR's, 1 for my Silkie's and 1 for my Guineas that I hope to add Light Brahma chickens to.

My eggs are in lockdown, day 19. I saw a couple of egg wiggles today, so exciting!! I’m setting my brooder up. It’s a 50 gallon plastic tote for (hopefully) 23 chicks. I’m wondering your thoughts of a nonslip drawer liner for the bottom of the brooder. I’m looking for easy cleanup and read somewhere that you can rewash this pretty easily. What are your thoughts?
I hope you have a successful hatch :fl
