brooder for ducks?

how are duck brooders different than chicken brooders?

The main thing would be to allow for much more mess... Ducklings can be so much messier than chicks. Putting an extra tray or different bedding under the water containers would be a good way to eliminate some of the extra water splash around when they drink.

Apart from that...they really dont have to be any different...they both need food water and heat...

thank you. i have been searching the internet, too, and finding all sorts of ideas. i guess i will try a sand bedding? also like the idea of using the milk jug for a waterer.

I may end up using some variant of this setup as well. Thanks for pointing it out! (honestly I'd noticed the link before, and ass-u-me'd that it was a huge brooder for twice as many ducklings/chicks.)
