Brooder Heat

Hello!!!

Hatched my first batch of chicks last night, put them in the brooder this morning. Just wondering if they always know where the warm spot is under the heat lamp?? Like if they were cold would they move towards a warm spot?

my chicks went under the lamp when they got cold and went out of it when they got too hot!!!!
