I have just about wrapped up my brooder build. It is 48" x 30" x 18". It has a pull out pan underneath to clean out waste. 2 of 13 eggs have hatched. Hopefully tomorrow or the next night the chicks will be ready to move into their new temporary home.

you have put quite a bit of time into the build - most people just use a large cardboard box.

make sure chicks are able to use those nipple waterers and that springs if there are springs in them are not to tight. I am using nipples that look down and have cup under each.

I will actually add a single small waterer in until I'm sure they can use thise in a couple of weeks.
