Hi! Quick question,
I have 2 sets of chicks. 10 four weekers and then these 4 (see attached pic) I’m not sure how old they are. The black and yellow one were about a week if that, when I got them so I’m estimating them 5ish? & I really don’t know about the grey
maybe 7? Close to 8? They seem fully feathered.
As you can see I have the brooders next to each other but separated…
Our coop isn’t quite finished due to the tornadic weather spring has brought…. & I worried the 4 chicks are just getting too big for their small quarters.
Now my real question is could I introduce them to each other yet? That way I can connect cages and give everyone more room?! Or should I wait until my 4 weekers are bigger? Some are huge already but I’m worried about one of my silkies, she is definitely a runt and could easily pass for a newer chick
