I had someone gaive me a plastic bathtub that they couldnt use in their remodeling of their bathroom! I am wanting to get at least 16 Dom chicks, and maybe 2 Cayuga ducks.
How many chicks can I brood in a standard size bathtub?
From chick to feathers for coop ready!
I just dont want to crowd the chicks. the ducks will get their own brooder!
Thanks,

I've gone as far as 4-1/2 weeks giving chicks 1/2 square foot per chick in the brooder. That is an area 6" x 12" each. They were starting to get a bit crowded.

Be aware they will fly out so you'll need a top.
