Brooder Questions Please...Hatch Day/Tuesday 8th

Ive not bothered about what temp my brooder is. They are down in my spare room and its nice and warm in there anyway. So I have no idea about temps. Yes I used puppy pads but I found with this last they slid o n the puppy pads so I used an old towel untill they were about 4 days old and had found their footing.
Someone should be here soon to pick up 4 of my ducklings. At last, some have sold.

my eggs are finally moving well a couple are 1 started at 8 am they due to hatch today, but i don't know not looking very good.

Stupid Birds....Fine Stay In There

there is 1 that has been Rockin out since 8AM. No holes. I've been talking to them lol my sons g/f was talking to them & she swears the eggs were really responding to her, and they tease me cuz I'm the bird lady. lol I had to siphon water out of the container in incubator with a tube & a shot thingy through the vent hole. The only way I can keep humidity up is with hot water then might last for 1 1/2 hours but thats when the eggs really respond. Does it always take so long even after the egg starts moving? ~ I'm gonna check them again right now wish me luck.

Is No News... Good News? Still NO Duckies! ~ I'll start a New Post Re: The Hatch, That Hasn't.... Since this post was really about Brooder Questions. I'm gonna have a couple egg pictures/questions for new post. ~I Have a Brooder Question.. * Would a Shelf Liner work to put on top of paper towels in brooder? Thanks, Julie

(1) Do I need to put marbles or some thing in the bottom tray of waterer where ducklings drink so they don't drown? *(2) The long Feed tray with lift up lid & big holes, is that good for babies to eat from? * (3) Do babies Need some thing Added to their Drinking Water (vitamins ect..) when 1st born? ~Thanks, Julie
