I have to post again, because I had only 1 reply.
I have these things on the list, not including the wood chip bedding/flooring(What kind should I use?), medicated chick crumbles, waterer, and feeder. This is for 4 Jersey Giant Chicks.

Big enough brooder box?

2 Heat Lamp Bulbs, 1 is 60 watts, the other is 150 watts. 150 is incase the 1st one breaks.

I would recommend the large pine shavings. Aspen can also be used but are more expensive. You can also use the wood pellets used for stoves. The cage you posted will work for a while although your breed are large and will outgrow it quickly. I never used a dimmable light. I just raised it to lower the temperature although that's your choice. Unless you use a low wattage bulb the safety cover may not be necessary at it will be outside their cage. Again your choice on the bulb and cover depending on the distance they are away from the lamp. The 60 w would have to be fairly close, possibly inside the cage. The 150 could possibly be set outside on top of the cage or suspended above one end. Don't try to heat the whole brooder, just one end. They need to have a cooler area to go to if needed. This will help prevent pasty butt and overheated little ones.
