I think you may need more ventilation, protected from winds and rain of course. What kind of temperature swings do you see through the year?

okay, so here are the pics I’ve got. I’m thinking maybe I should put a little awning or something over the windows? Right now, there is no protection. Temperature swings are typically about 20ish degrees.

Oops guess I should've called it temperature range, like how cold does it get on winter nights, and on hottest summer days? If it's fairly temperate then maybe this amount of ventilation will be enough. I see there's a strip of vented area above the door as well.

Yes awning style covers could help shelter those windows from the weather. Prop them or latch them up completely open during good weather, close them so they're partially open during bad weather.
