Brooder water issues!

Ok guys! What do you do for a waterer in your brooder? My guys make a MASSIVE mess and I’m just really tired of cleaning out the entire cage every single day! I’ve tried a dish inside a bigger dish, a dish with big rocks in it, a feeder for water so they can’t splash.. everything! I just filled a mason jar and attached to to the waterer it’s been in there all of 5 minutes and they have emptied the entire thing already!! I’m going crazy! I need ideas! I can’t wait till these smelly messy fluffs are outside!

I hear you. I just went through the same thing -- soggy shavings every 2 minutes. I just ended up with these and they work great. But I have a wire dog crate brooder set-up, so they were very easy to attach.

I used this: I drilled a hole about 1" from the bottom of the white plastic jar and put it in a basin. Then put it on top of a paint tray with a wire top so all the spilled water went into the bucket below.
