Mine are set up in a pumpkin box (free this time of year at almost any grocery store) with a lid made from $5 worth the chicken wire and some scrap lumber (yes those are the doors to my upper kitchen cabinets, LOL!). The nice thing about the pumpkin box is that it's REALLY heavy cardboard (well, and free). I've got 13 in there so they have a little under 1 sq ft each. I don't have a heat lamp, just and EcoGlow. They spend almost all their time running around the box now that they're more than a week old. They only seem to use to EcoGlow at night (and my house is unheated so it's in the 60s right now).
