Sounds Great! My brooder is a Rabbit cage converted, it's got a 100 watt heat bulb that emits no light so they can sleep and a food and water bottle, make sure the water feeder is very shallow.

I made it myself and purchased the cage off gumtree (australian advertising site) for $15 only! Just look for advertising in your local area or make your own.
