There is a great sticky for chicken brooders, can we start a posting here sharing images of your duck brooder set ups? Would love to see what everyone else has built or uses.

My brooder is just a rubbermaid tote that is bigger than the normal ones, I have them inside for a couple weeks until they don't need me to check on them every two hours. It is easier to check on them when you pass them all the time. Then when I think they are big enough I have a smaller room in the barn which is my grow out space. For the ducks or a bigger number of chicks I pull outa kiddie pool to brood them, eventually they graduate to just the room.

the first pic is new pen 8ft with 4 3x2 areas. The second looks into one.Third pic is 8x4 single grow out. And last is 4x2 with box with hay for exotic newborns.

This is the brooder my ducks are now in. The chicks were in it first, but have since moved to the coop.

I don't have the gates on the top any longer, though. I had that for the leghorns, they were flying from one end to the other and sitting on top of the waterer.
