Broodies & Babies Video Contest
Closes June 5th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Many of our members here have had a hen go broody, and springtime usually means broody hens and new chicks. Who doesn’t love seeing a mother hen with her chicks? We would love to see yours! Take a short video of your broody hen & babies (any fowl species accepted) and show us for a chance to win 1 of 3 prizes.

It's easy to enter.
  1. Take a short video clip (max 15 seconds) of your beautiful hens and their gorgeous babies doing whatever they do best.
  2. Upload it onto our Contest Video Gallery HERE.
  3. Post a reply to this thread with a link to your uploaded video(s)

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules below before entering.

Rules:
  1. All domestic poultry allowed (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, peafowl, guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, emu, etc).
  2. Four entries per member. An entry is *one* video of your domestic broody with at least one baby.
  3. Other animals may be in the video, but the star(s) of the video must be the broody and her babies.
  4. The video needs to have been taken by you.
  5. No people in the picture (no faces, fingers, hands, arms, etc.).
  6. No watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the video.
  7. ALL videos MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other video sites, personal websites, etc.
  8. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
  9. Open to all BYC members.
  10. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
  11. Entries will be accepted through June 5th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Regarding copyright & license:
We are very conscientious about respecting the copyright of other peeps' work. We want to make sure we have your permission to use the video(s) for the BYC YouTube channel and for other BYC-related uses and promotions. You retain ownership of your video(s) and can continue to use it however you want. By uploading your videos to the gallery you are simply granting BYC license to use the video(s) for BYC-related purposes.

First$50 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 1-year PFM ($60 value) for yourself or a friend.
Second$30 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 6-month PFM ($35 value) for yourself or a friend.
Third$15 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 3-month PFM ($20 value) for yourself or a friend.

BYC Store Gift Certificates are available to winners that reside in the United States. If the winners are outside of the United States they will be awarded a PFM instead.
