Broodies Everywhere!!

I have two broody breakers and four broody hens. Can the hens go in together if they get along?

Good question! I'd say break 2 at a time, but broodiness is contagious! You get 2 broken only to have them go broody again at seeing the others!

Can you put something to divide the broody breakers? They make those dividers for dog crates (if that's what you're using). But you might be able to use something else, if your breakers are big enough.

I AM using dog crates. I will have to dig through my garage and see if I still have the divider... thanks for the idea!

Maybe even cardboard or deer netting if you can't find the dividers?

Let us know what happens! I'm sure others will have the same issue. I only have 1 broody breaker myself!

If the birds are generally friendly with each other you should be able to put more than one in a breaker, as long as there's space. They're usually more interested in trying to get back to the nest than in each other.
