Broodies

I definatley will! I seem to have problems so Im kinda spazzing.... lol but most of the egg was filled up with a big dark blob...and I saw it moving around last time (i think). I cannot wait, from what I see no pipping yet...but tomorrow morning I'll go check for sure.

I'm not really sure.
But I wanna wish you good luck! I hope the hatch is successful!

My sisters, a pair of black jersey giants, went broody on the same day... too big to share a box though. They were side by side, till one fell over dead! Her sister now has both clutches under her, and I hope some hatch because she will be so lost and lonely without her sister if she doesn't have someone else to be with. I still don't know what happened, or even which one died. They looked identical, and I could only tell them apart by behavior and till the survivor is done brooding (provided the loss of her sister doesn't change her behavior) I won't know who we burried last week.
Sorry to add such a sad note. I also have a nanny hen who sits on the eggs while the broodies take breaks. She hatched a single chick last month and it died (darn cat!) so she feels like she needs to help out, I guess.
