Brooding duck and chicken eggs together???

I have a muscovy sitting on a nest of chicken and duck eggs! Has anyone had this before? Just wondering what to expect since the chicken eggs will hatch first!

That sounds like bad news bears...if there are a fair number of chicken eggs, she could think that her own babies are duds and might abandon the nest before they all hatch! Not saying that's what'll happen, I've never come across this specific scenario, but sadly stragglers can get left behind when mama thinks all the viable eggs have hatched. I see it all too often at the rescue center.
