So I have a young Cochin Bantam that won't give up sitting on eggs (actually nothing)! She is obviously hard core momma because she won't give up brooding an empty nest. She has been sitting for almost 3 months and I always collect the eggs and most of the time she is sitting on nothing.

So here is my question, I have some 2-4 week old guinea keets and chicks. Do you think if I moved the hen to a shed with some babies she will take care of them? She obviously wants some babies but I am not sure how she will react to situation. I cannot put the chicks in the coop because I have other large adult chickens and ducks and am sure the chicks won't survive.

    Suggestions?

You could try her with one keet/small chick to see, but be prepared to lose it if she goes ape.
