These two started laying eggs a month before turning two years old. They are now brooding eggs and are just a bit over age two. They are brooding turkey eggs as their own are infertile due to my peacock not surviving the winter.
Their nests are on the roof of a coop; a roof top garden where they overlook the whole yard. Just a while ago I heard them give warning of a hawk and every bird in the yard ran for cover-How cool is that!
