I bought my ducklings today and i’ve done quite alot of research and stumbled upon brooding? Is it a must for owning a duck and what exactly does it do. Thanks!
 
:welcome if you are talking about ducks setting and hatching eggs , not all ducks do so. If you have one that goes broody and don't want ducklings simply remove the eggs and lock her away from the nest site.
