Broody at 6 mos old?

Yup, my pure Ameraucana has been laying for a month. She's 32 weeks and has been broody since Monday. Wednesday night I slipped some eggs under her, so we'll see how she does. So far, so good.

Wow, I would love to raise some chicks but I have no rooster and I can't in the city limits where I live. I have left my mom in charge we will see how it goes.
