Broody chicken sits in eggs occasionally...

If a broody chicken sits in eggs sporadically (occasionally or at irregular intervals) during the day. Do the eggs will still hatch? My broody hen has been sitting on 10 eggs. Only 3 of them hatched a week ago. Is that the reason why she isn’t sitting in the nest 24/7?
When you collect a clutch of eggs over a period of days and then the hen sits do they will hatch at the same time? Thank you very much

A broody hen will get up throughout the days until she has the right amount of eggs to sit on, then she will sit longer on the nest but still get up to eat, drink, and poop. This makes the eggs all hatch around the same time.
