I thought it was around a dozen but I could never check because she kept hissing and trying to peck me if I tried to look at them, so none of them are marked. Prob about 14 days though.

A quick once a day lift-and-peek usually won’t affect a determined broody.Lol I was more scared that too much interfering would get her to abandon the nest!
I like to let my broodies raise their babies within the flock. Integration is so much easier that way.Caught yet another different hen running around growling with her wings out, acting broody. Hopefully it's just a passing fancy!
The nesting one has been sitting on the eggs for about 18 days now. I wonder how things will turn out... I should be building a new coop to prepare but wood prices are super crazy! At least it's summer time.

I hope you have a plan for when it’s no longer summer time, if you plan on keeping them all. Crowded chickens can develop some very bad habits.
Need to mark eggs given(all on the same day) to a broody to hatch.I think the one on the right has been putting eggs into the nest?
