Exactly what @quailmama 82012 said. I just put a male and female in a big pen full of plants and she did the rest on her own.

Mine have a HUGE area with tons of plants and hide areas. The whole back of our house No broodiness

Mine was around ten weeks and went broody as soon as she had enough eggs. I’ve read that it possibly helps to just have one male and female.
