Broody Duck Acting Weird

Just by looking at them they look like some are about to explode Blk? I'd candle them all before discarding but they don't look too good. Have you done the smell test and the listening test ? Put the eggs to your ear to listen for peeping and smell for any that maybe rotten but handle very carefully so none explode on you. @EmilyP

She abandoned the eggs Sunday so husband cleaned it all out yesterday. They were even darker than that picture shows. She does seem to be quite happy and healthy now back to herself. Once our mallard drake quit chasing her.
I wonder if he was not able to mate her due to the size difference and her eggs were never actually fertilized? He sure tries tho!

Sounds like out bantam roos trying to mate with our large fowl hens it is funny to watch..But they don't get the job done.
