Could have been the shell wasn’t as hard as it should be and she stepped on it or rolled onto another Hard to say. You know she is eating? Make sure she is and maybe add some extra protein in the way of sprinkled Cat food fish based over her feed to make sure she is getting enough protein.

She is definitely eating I have a food & water container right beside her nest & I have to fill it daily plus she does come out to stretch & swim & she free ranges in the yard for a few minutes every day. I'm thinking that your correct that she stepped on the egg or it cracked some how.
