I finally let my Ancona duck go broody and sit on her eggs. She collected eight eggs and has been incubating them for about a week now! I do have a drake, so I know they would be fertile. This morning I had to make her get off of her eggs for a while so she can eat and drink. This is her first time hatching eggs. I am curious if there is anything special that I should be feeding her, how to care for her and the eggs, and how long will it be until they hatch, etc... Can anyone help with advice about what to do? Also, if I decide to sell a couple ducklings, what age is best to do so?
