I don't actually introduce mine. The broody hens do. I have two brooders in the run. The hen usually takes them out after the 2nd or 3rd day.

I don't know if your hen would take week Olds. Lucy, my old hen would, but most won't. If you can fix them a brooder in your run, the flock will be used to them by 4 to 6 weeks. If you free range, I'd wait a little longer to release them into the flock.
