Broody Feeding Question

There are very few 'medications' allowed in organic feed, but you would have to look at the bag to make sure.

Thanks; I'll have to ask if an EE ever does go broody, seeing as EE's don't go broody very often. What if I fed them grower? Does that ever have medication in it? Grower's starting to look like my best option right now.

What type of Game Bird feed are you talking about? There are a lot of people that feed a Game Bird feed and have no ill affects (my self included).
I fed a 22% Game Bird starter/grower for years to all my birds (chicks, growers, layers and breeders) and always had good amount of eggs from all my hens.

Sorry I meant to say Gamebird starter as this has up to 28% protein.
I guess it varies then from brand to brand as the one I get here has 28% protein for Gamebird starter. Maybe just regular grower has less protein.
I think that you'll be safe if you stay within the 20% to 22% protein.

They are labelled as gamebird crumbles rather than gamebird starter, I think it should be fine.
