Yep, perfectly normal. They will co-mom the ducklings.

It used to just be Martha's nest, and she's been our broodiest girl, but then Stella started sharing it. They both do get up and come out when we open the run (sometimes with some encouragement), but then they snuggle right back in together when we put them in.

My Stella is broody too! She hisses and bites my feet when I get the eggs. She collects all the eggs from the other ducks during the night and I have to fight her for them in the morning. Your ducks are precious. What is the breed?
