I have a hen that went broody weeks ago. We let her sit but didn't know that she was getting off and letting other gems lay on her nest. When we realized this she had collected 18 eggs under her. We moved her to a pen and she has been committed to sitting. This week one chick hatched. She's still been sitting on the eggs. Last night at feeding time she was sitting on them. Today at noon she was off of them. We collected them and put them into incubator right away. But they were cold. Any chance they are still viable??!!
