Broody Hatchalong!

Hello! I am just starting to see broody behavior from my Buff Orpington! But most of my chickens are not the broody type. Other than silkies what breeds do you recommend for a good, reliably broody hen?

There's many other breeds that go broody too, but those are two of the best!

Blue red laced wyandottes are the prettiest birds, I had one for awhile but died recently . I was hoping to cross it with my Blue Copper Maran rooster too see what that would look like but maybe I will still get around to that someday.

Here’s a picture of Fudge! I successfully convinced her to sit in a dog crate in the shed. I put a sheet over it so that she can have a little more privacy, and so that it’s darker.
