Hello! I've read a lot here but this is my first post!

One of our hens went broody last month and we decided to let her hatch a few eggs out, so I moved her into her own crate on the porch and today is the big day. I heard some peeping and movement under her so I assume they hatched in the last hour. My question is what should I do now? Do they need an extra heat source aside from momma hen? Should I place food and water in the crate with them, or perhaps move them to a larger crate?

No to extra heat. I'd put in food and water, mainly for the hen at this point, but make sure the water can't spill and the chicks can't drown in it. If you plan on keeping the hen and chicks separate from the flock until they are older, or letting them all together?

I think I'm going to keep them separate but where the flock can see them. The main flock free ranges and I have one of those "pet gazebos" that I am going to put on my deck for the momma hen and the chicks
