Hi Everyone:
I am Joyce, and I live up on the Olympic Peninsula, Western WAshington. This is my first post:
I have four Laying hens (c' marans) and one has gone broody. She sits just inside the door of the coop, and as soon as I move her to retrieve the eggs, she's back on the nest. I've put her outside with the other chickens and she is back in her spot in no time. This I know will resolve, but the other laying hens aren't laying eggs, now--or if they are, they are laying them in her nest and she takes care of them? That's pretty unlikely, right? So she is having an affect on my other Hens? Is she intimidating them or something?
