Broody hen and chicks

I have a 2 yo hen. She went broody after the passing of her 2 pen mates. I have 4, 2 week old chicks. Can i put them under her at night? Will she see them as hers? She is really defensive of her area. Thanks

Chicks are likely too old to accept her and if she hasn't been broody very long, she's unlikely to accept them either.
