Broody hen/ broken from broody

I have a hen who went broody. And we just moved to a new location little over a month ago. She is no longer broody after the move. But still hasn’t laid any eggs yet. She is not currently free ranging. So she isn’t laying anywhere else. She is also our only current white egg layer and we have only been getting brown eggs. So we know she isn’t laying for sure. About how long before she will start laying again? Picture of my girl Goldie.

How old is she and how long was she broody for? I've found that the longer the hen is broody for, the longer it'll take before she starts laying again. Depending on the bird, I would expect her to start laying any day now. Have you noticed her molting at all? Sometimes after a hen has gone broody she'll start to molt.

2-3 weeks is typical, but it can run longer. If you're in the northern hemisphere and she's 18 months old or older, she may go straight to winter break and not lay again until spring.
