Broody Hen eggs are hatching!!! Help please!

So exciting! It's normal for chicks to take long breaks where they don't make much progress. My first hatch, the egg peeped at me when I checked on it first thing in the morning, barely made progress all day...and then finally hatched around 6 pm.

ah ok!! it is very exciting!!

is it normal to not hear any peeping from the egg or see any movement, ive only checked on it once and i havent noticed anything.

Probably. The chick might have been sleeping or just quiet.

Have you hatched in an incubator before?
If so, you know it can take time and there are periods of 'inactivity'.
Thing about a broody is you can't visually watch,
so I'd rather use the bator for that an other reasons.

yes ive used an incubator before, i prefer incubators i think!
