Hey guys this is my first broody hen and I know they say let nature take it’s course I’m not one to let babies die so that being said I have a momma who hatched a baby last night one this morning that didn’t make it and another that looks to be stuck but I don’t want to intervene to soon and since she’s doing this I don’t know how long exactly the first pop was but I do know it’s been about 12 hours since I noticed this egg had a hole. Should I intervene or wait out the night? Yes I did pick it up to see if it was still breathing and it is chirping and all but not struggling much to get out.

Sorry for the late update I had to work and before I went to work(8:30 this morning) baby was almost out and momma wasn’t feeling me messing around in her box haha. Mom and both babies are doing great we have one egg left that hasn’t hatched and there is still movement in so not sure if I got that one mixed up with one because she kept stealing them constantly I was trying to remove them daily but must have missed one lol. Thanks for the advice guys I love this group so much!
