Broody hen in the winter?

Can a broody successfully raise her chicks in the fall/winter? I had a hen hatched some chicks recently and I'm wondering if I should take the babies or leave them with their mother.

Leave 'em with mom.

The hen will keep them warm enough. My Brahma raised her chicks through thick frosts last Spring with no problems at all.
